This Privacy Policy explains how Ecomlytics Ltd, trading as Floralyst (“Floralyst”, “we”, “us” or “our”), collects, uses, stores and protects personal information when you use the Floralyst mobile application, website and related services (together, the “Service”).

Ecomlytics Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16798911, with its registered office at 1 Kings Avenue, London, United Kingdom, N21 3NA.

By using Floralyst, you acknowledge that your information will be handled as described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information that you provide to us, information generated through your use of Floralyst, and certain technical information necessary to operate the Service.
 

Account Information

When you create or use a Floralyst account, we may collect information such as your name, email address, account identifier and authentication information.

Floralyst uses Supabase to provide authentication, database and associated backend infrastructure.
 

Content You Provide

Floralyst allows you to upload, create, calculate and store information including:

• photographs of floral arrangements, flowers, foliage and related items;

• floral recipes and arrangement information;

• flower and foliage varieties;

• quantities and stem counts;

• projects and project details;

• flower, foliage and sundry prices;

• costs, mark-ups and pricing information;

• labour and delivery information;

• notes and other information you choose to enter into the Service.

We refer to this collectively as “User Content.”
 

Images and AI-Assisted Processing

Floralyst provides AI-assisted functionality to help users analyse floral designs and create floral recipes.

When you use these features, photographs, text and other information you submit for analysis may be sent to and processed by OpenAI, which provides artificial intelligence technology used by Floralyst.

This processing may be used to provide features such as:

• flower and foliage identification;

• floral arrangement analysis;

• suggested stem quantities;

• floral recipe generation; and

• other AI-assisted recommendations or outputs within Floralyst.

Only information required to provide the relevant functionality is submitted for processing.

AI-generated results may not always be accurate. You should review and, where appropriate, edit AI-generated information before relying on it.
 

You should not upload photographs or other content containing personal or sensitive information unless it is necessary for your use of the Service and you are entitled to provide that information.
 

Subscription and Purchase Information

If you purchase a Floralyst subscription through Apple's App Store, payment processing is handled by Apple.

Floralyst does not receive or store your complete payment card details.

We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions, purchases and access to paid features.

RevenueCat may process information such as:

• the subscription product or plan purchased;

• transaction identifiers;

• subscription status;

• renewal or expiry status;

• entitlement information; and

• certain device, app or technical identifiers required to manage subscriptions.

We use this information to determine which Floralyst features your account is entitled to access.
 

Technical and Usage Information

We may collect technical information relating to your use of Floralyst, including:

• device and operating-system information;

• application version;

• technical identifiers;

• diagnostic information;

• error and crash information; and

• information about how features of the Service are used.

We use this information to operate, secure, troubleshoot and improve Floralyst.
 

2. How We Use Your Information

We may use personal information to:

• create, authenticate and manage your Floralyst account;

• provide the Service and its functionality;

• save and manage your recipes, projects, prices and other User Content;

• process photographs and other content that you submit;

• provide AI-assisted flower identification, recipe generation and arrangement analysis;

• perform calculations and generate information requested through the Service;

• determine your subscription status and provide access to the appropriate Floralyst features;

• process and manage subscription entitlements;

• maintain, troubleshoot and improve the Service;

• monitor and protect the security and integrity of Floralyst;

• prevent misuse, fraud or unauthorised access;

• respond to questions and support requests;

• comply with legal and regulatory obligations; and

• enforce our Terms of Use and protect our legal rights.

We do not sell your personal information.
 

3. Legal Bases for Processing

Where UK or European data-protection law applies, we process personal information only where we have an appropriate legal basis.

Depending on the circumstances, this may include:
 

Performance of a Contract

We process information where necessary to provide Floralyst and the services and functionality you have requested.

For example, we need to process your account information and User Content in order to provide your Floralyst account, recipes, projects and other app functionality.
 

Legitimate Interests

We may process information where reasonably necessary for our legitimate interests in operating, maintaining, securing, developing and improving Floralyst, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights and interests.
 

Consent

Where required, we may ask for your consent before carrying out particular types of processing.

Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time, although this will not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal.
 

Legal Obligations

We may process or retain information where necessary to comply with applicable legal, regulatory, accounting or other obligations.
 

4. How We Share Information

We use trusted third-party service providers to operate and provide Floralyst.

These include:

Supabase

We use Supabase to provide backend infrastructure, database storage, authentication and related technical services.

Information associated with your Floralyst account, including account information and User Content, may therefore be stored or processed using Supabase infrastructure.

OpenAI

We use OpenAI to provide certain artificial intelligence and image-analysis functionality within Floralyst.

When you choose to use AI-assisted functionality, relevant photographs, text or other information you submit may be processed by OpenAI in order to generate the requested analysis or output.

RevenueCat

We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions, purchases and subscription entitlements.

RevenueCat may process information relating to your subscription and purchases, transaction identifiers, subscription status, entitlement information and certain technical identifiers required to provide subscription management.

Apple

Where you download Floralyst or purchase a subscription through Apple's App Store, Apple processes the relevant purchase and payment information under its own terms and privacy practices.

Floralyst receives information necessary to determine your subscription and entitlement status but does not receive your complete payment card details.

Other Service Providers

We may also use service providers for website hosting, communications, diagnostics, security, technical infrastructure and similar operational purposes.

Our service providers may process information where necessary to provide their services to us or as otherwise permitted under their applicable agreements, terms and privacy policies.

We may also disclose information where reasonably necessary to:

• comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process or a lawful request from a public authority;

• establish, exercise or defend legal rights;

• protect the rights, property or safety of Floralyst, our users or others;

• investigate suspected fraud, security incidents or misuse of the Service; or

• facilitate a merger, acquisition, restructuring, financing or sale of all or part of our business.
   

5. International Data Transfers

Some of the service providers used to operate Floralyst may process or store information in countries outside the United Kingdom or the country in which you live.

This may include providers of cloud infrastructure, artificial intelligence, subscription management and other technology services.

Where applicable data-protection law requires safeguards for an international transfer of personal information, we will take appropriate measures designed to ensure that the information receives an appropriate level of protection.
 

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to:

• provide Floralyst and maintain your account;

• fulfil the purposes described in this Privacy Policy;

• maintain the security and integrity of the Service;

• resolve disputes;

• enforce our agreements; and

• comply with legal, accounting, regulatory or other obligations.

Different categories of information may be retained for different periods depending on their purpose and applicable legal requirements.

If you delete your Floralyst account, information associated with your account may be deleted or anonymised, subject to reasonable technical processing and backup periods and any information that we are required or permitted to retain for legal, security, fraud-prevention or other legitimate purposes.
 

7. Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your Floralyst account and associated personal information using the account-deletion functionality provided within Floralyst, where available, or by contacting us at hello@floralystapp.com.

Account deletion may result in the permanent loss of recipes, projects, photographs, pricing information and other User Content associated with your account.

Deleting your Floralyst account does not automatically cancel an active subscription purchased through Apple's App Store.

Subscriptions purchased through Apple's App Store must be cancelled separately through your Apple account or App Store subscription settings.
 

8. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live and the law that applies to you, you may have rights relating to your personal information.

These may include the right to:

• request access to personal information we hold about you;

• request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information;

• request deletion of your personal information;

• object to certain processing;

• request restriction of certain processing;

• withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;

• request a portable copy of certain information; and

• complain to an applicable data-protection authority.

These rights are subject to applicable law and may not apply in every circumstance.

If you are located in the United Kingdom, you also have the right to make a complaint to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
 

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, loss, destruction or misuse.

We also use third-party infrastructure and service providers that provide security measures appropriate to the services they perform.

However, no internet-based service, electronic transmission or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials.

10. Children's Privacy

Floralyst is not intended for children under the age of 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If we become aware that personal information relating to a child has been collected in circumstances where it should not have been, we will take appropriate steps to delete that information.
 

11. Third-Party Services

Floralyst relies on third-party services to provide certain functionality.

These include services provided by Supabase, OpenAI, RevenueCat and Apple.

Those organisations may process information in accordance with their own terms, contractual obligations and privacy practices.

Where you interact directly with a third-party service — for example, Apple's App Store — that third party's privacy policy may also apply to its processing of your information.
 

12. AI-Assisted Features

Certain Floralyst features use artificial intelligence to analyse information and generate suggestions or outputs.

AI-generated information is intended to assist users and may contain errors, omissions or incorrect identifications.

Floralyst does not guarantee that AI-generated flower identifications, quantities, recipes, costs, recommendations or other outputs will be completely accurate.

You remain responsible for reviewing information generated through AI-assisted features and determining whether it is appropriate for your intended use.

Where an AI-assisted feature requires information to be processed by a third-party AI provider, only the information reasonably necessary to provide that functionality will be submitted for processing.
 

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as Floralyst develops, our technology or service providers change, or our legal or regulatory obligations change.

The current version of the Privacy Policy will be published on the Floralyst website and will display the date on which it was last updated.

Where required by applicable law, we will provide appropriate notice of material changes.

We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
